National Bakers Association of Zimbabwe (NBAZ)

It has been in existence since 1940 and represents the interests of employees in the baking industry.

Objectives

  • To promote the interest of members.
  • To promote good labour relations in the industry.
  • To promote or establish mutual benefits schemes for members.
  • To represent all employees in the baking industry in the National Employment Council for the Food and Allied Industries (Baking Industry Sub-sector) and to thereby regulate and co-ordinate the relationship between members and employees.
  • To foster and encourage by whatever means available, research and development of skills in the Baking Industry and to liaise all institutions providing training for the industry.
  • To encourage good, safe and environmentally friendly working conditions foe all employees in the industry.
  • To subscribe to become a member of, incorporate or co-operate with other association cooperate or unincorporated, whose objects are wholly or in part similar to those of the association with the objective of promoting the objects of the Association.
  • To serve and promote the interests of the Baking Industry in dealing with the government and its departments, provincial district and rural authorities and all other organisations who activities affect the industry.
